Summary

Design Project Coordinator (Azure DevOps / Design Operations)
Location: Remote (Eastern & Central Time Zones)
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: $60-$65
Overview
The Experience Design Analyst supports the intake, planning, and delivery of design work across the Customer Experience Strategy & Design (CXSD) team. This role partners closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and Design Leads to turn requests into actionable plans, ensure work is well-defined, and drive efficient delivery.
 
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, design, product, or digital environments
  • Strong experience gathering and refining requirements
  • Experience supporting project planning, tracking, and delivery (timelines, dependencies, milestones)
  • Proficient with tools such as Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Figma, or similar
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in Agile environments (SAFe preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Work Intake & Requirements
  • Manage intake of design work requests across assigned workstreams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, dependencies, and success criteria
  • Ensure work is clearly documented and ready for execution
Delivery & Workflow Coordination
  • Break down work into tasks, timelines, and milestones
  • Monitor progress, identify risks/blockers, and coordinate resolutions
  • Keep stakeholders aligned and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support design-to-development handoffs and implementation readiness
Tracking, Tools & Documentation
  • Track work and maintain documentation in Azure DevOps and related tools
  • Maintain resource allocations, timelines, and forecasting data
  • Ensure organized documentation for all active workstreams
Readiness, Validation & Governance
  • Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery coordination
  • Ensure stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria are complete
  • Validate delivered work against requirements and expected outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with governance, milestone, and approval processes
Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Act as a liaison across cross-functional teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting customer experience, design, or digital product teams
  • Familiarity with Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, etc.)
  • Experience working across design, product, and development teams
  • Experience in enterprise environments with shared services and governance processes
