Bayforce  United States (Remote)

Role Title: QAD Techno-Functional Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Preferred Location: Remote with Travel to Southern Pines, NC

 

Role Description:

We are seeking a mid-level QAD Techno-Functional Analyst with broad experience across QAD Standard Edition (SE) Character UI, NetUI, and the Adaptive Web Browser Interface, including modern cloud-hosted QAD Enterprise Edition environments. This role blends functional expertise, configuration skills, and leadership capability, and includes oversight of an AMS support team responsible for day-to-day QAD operations. Experience supporting QAD upgrade and migration paths, particularly moving from Standard Edition to Cloud-Hosted Enterprise Edition, is highly valued.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze requirements across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Configure and support QAD functionality across SE Character UI, NetUI, and Adaptive UX.
  • Develop and deliver functional documentation, training materials, and user readiness sessions.
  • Support enhancement initiatives, cloud migration efforts, and QAD modernization projects.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and work cross-functionally with technical or vendor teams for resolution.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Execute QAD configuration tasks, role-based security setup, and menu personalization.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on queries, data validation, interfaces, and reports.
  • Support integration initiatives (EDI, APIs, middleware, and related applications).
  • Participate in test cycles including unit, integration, regression, and UAT.

AMS Team Oversight Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and escalation support for the AMS (Application Managed Services) QAD support team.
  • Prioritize and assign QAD support tickets, ensuring SLA compliance and complete resolution.
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis, process improvements, and documentation of recurring issues.
  • Mentor and guide AMS team members, driving knowledge consistency and best practices.
  • Coordinate across business, IT, and third-party teams to ensure seamless end-to-end support.

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5+ years of hands-on QAD ERP experience with SE Character UI, NetUI, and Adaptive UX.
  • Experience leading or supporting AMS / ERP support teams.
  • Experience in cloud-hosted QAD environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution processes.
  • Ability to write clear functional specifications and partner effectively with technical teams.
