Position Overview:The Infrastructure Engineer III is a mid-level technical contributor responsible for building, operating, and supporting cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments. This role focuses on cloud-native and PaaS-first services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), platform reliability, security fundamentals, and cost awareness. The engineer works under the guidance of senior engineers and architects to implement well-defined designs and ensure cloud platforms are stable, secure, and supportable.
This position is ideal for an engineer who has solid hands-on cloud experience, is comfortable working in production environments, and is continuing to grow depth across cloud operations, automation, and enterprise governance.
Job Description:
EDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Master's in Science, Computer Science, Technology, Information Technology, Engineering or closely related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:- 2 years recent relevant experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:- Exposure to container platforms such as AKS and Azure Container Apps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience supporting regulated, highly available, or enterprise-scale environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud IaaS and PaaS services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform.
- Experience working within agile, DevOps, or ITIL-based operational teams
- Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.

Pay Range is $55.18 to $82.77 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
