Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic III to perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting activities in support of aviation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of aircraft airframes and powerplants, demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality, and ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, and replacement of aircraft components and systems.
  • Conduct inspections and functional testing of aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance publications.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to inspect, test, and repair aircraft systems.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Support aircraft readiness and operational reliability through preventative and corrective maintenance.
Required Qualifications
  • Active and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification with no prior FAA violations.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Typically 4+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and aircraft documentation.
  • Advanced experience repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
  • Must own and maintain tools in good working condition.
  • Ability to pass and maintain Class 3 Physical requirements, including a hearing test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Repair Station experience.
  • Quality Assurance experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Aerospace, Defense, Department of Defense (DoD), or U.S. Military background.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, and bending.
  • Repetitive use of hands, arms, and fingers.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color differentiation capabilities.
  • Ability to hear and distinguish varying tones and sound levels.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to indoor and outdoor working conditions.
  • Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Exposure to aircraft-related fumes, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
  • Work in environments with elevated noise levels.
  • Safety-sensitive position involving aircraft maintenance and inspection activities.
