Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer (Combat) - Early Career.
In this role, you will contribute to design, analysis, implementation, test and integration of mission critical software. The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience in Systems Engineering of Weapons Control Systems product supporting Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) programs to meet cost and schedule. In this role, you will develop fire control, track filtering, guidance, engagement planning, and coordinate system alignment algorithms by performing design trades and simulating algorithms. Responsible for development of requirements using SysML diagrams and constructs.

This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent.

Experience with use of Unix/Linux, C++, Java, and/or Python, MATLAB.

Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills through the understanding and use of math and physics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills that cause successful work in a collaborative and team based environment.

This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

Experience in Model Based Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (e.g., Rhapsody, Cameo).

Experience in Agile workflow environment (e.g., JIRA, Scrum).

Experience with issue investigation and defect correction.
