Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 4–6 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is adept at transforming raw data into actionable insights through SQL querying, Power BI dashboard development, and advanced Excel techniques. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM integrations is highly desirable. This individual will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business stakeholders and leadership.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases and data warehouses.
• Manipulate, consolidate, and reconcile large datasets in Excel using advanced functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, pivot tables, and macros.
• Publish and distribute Power BI datasets and reports into Excel workbooks, enabling self-service analytics for end users.
• Partner with CRM teams to integrate Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) data into reporting pipelines and analytical models.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to define KPIs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, and dashboard specifications to maintain institutional knowledge.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through exploratory data analysis and present findings to stakeholders with clear visualizations and narratives.
Required Qualifications:
• 4–6 years of professional experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar analytics role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting across diverse database environments (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and dashboard/report design and publishing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas, data consolidation, and VBA/macros.
• Demonstrated ability to publish Power BI content to Excel and manage data refresh workflows.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Salesforce reporting, Salesforce data integration, or other CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Dynamics 365).
• Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, or tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or Alteryx.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of data governance, data warehousing concepts, or dimensional modelling.
• Power BI certification (PL-300) or equivalent credential.
• Prior experience in a staffing, technology services, or consulting environment.
