Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Camunda Developer to design, develop, and optimize workflow and business process automation solutions using the Camunda Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BPM (Business Process Management), microservices architecture, and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement BPMN workflows using Camunda Modeler
Develop and maintain process-driven applications using Camunda Platform
Integrate Camunda with REST APIs, microservices, and external systems
Optimize and monitor workflows for performance and scalability
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability
Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into BPMN/DMN models
Implement decision logic using DMN (Decision Model and Notation)
Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers
Ensure best practices in workflow design and process governance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong experience with Camunda Platform (Camunda 7 or 8)
Proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot
Experience with BPMN 2.0, DMN, and workflow orchestration
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
Understanding of event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ is a plus)

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Leadership and mentoring abilities
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Camunda Optimize and Camunda Cockpit
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Camunda certification (nice to have)

5 8+ years in software development
3+ years working specifically with Camunda Platform
