Summary

Scope of Work

  • DSS is seeking a qualified individual to create test case scenarios and conduct testing on the business side and with key stakeholders with respect to enhanced or developed Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). Experience with MMIS is required.

 

Activities include but are not limited to: 

  • Coordinate testing efforts with system project leads and the Department’s IT team.
  • Create and document comprehensive test scenarios while understanding system impacts to all relational systems and programs. 
  • Conduct testing scenarios within various systems, review and track results, and assist in remediation. 
  • Maintain knowledge about various business areas supported including their processes, dynamics, and touch points with other business areas.
  • Manage or participate in program research and analysis; planning and development, and implementation processes related to projects resulting from federal rule, state mandated changes, and policy updates.

·         Gather and analyze data, reason logically, and solve problems using common sense and resourcefulness. 

·         Interact confidently and appropriately with project teams, team leadership, and IT staff.

·         Communicate clear and concise information, both orally and in writing.

·         Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others regardless of personality or work style.

·         Independently and effectively plan and organize time and prioritize task completion to meet deadlines.

·         Understand, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.

·         Work well both independently and as part of a team,

·         Organize, lead and facilitate project-related meetings as needed.

·         Document activities and develop feedback report to communicate project findings and activities.

·         Experience in working with MMIS as it relates to testing.
