Power Platform Developer

Position Summary:

Duration: 6 Months Possible Extension

Location: Washington, DC 20433

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon

About:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Power Apps and Power Automate solutions supporting the Allocation Model and Blended Finance (BFC) Workflow Tool initiatives. The role focuses on automating complex business processes, implementing allocation and approval workflows, and delivering scalable, secure, and auditable low-code solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) and Power Automate workflows.
• Build solutions for eligibility assessments, allocation calculations, scenario management, portfolio workflows, and multi-stage approval processes.
• Design Dataverse data models and implement role-based security controls.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure Functions, SharePoint, Dataverse, and enterprise applications.
• Implement complex business rules, validations, audit trails, notifications, approvals, and escalation workflows.
• Perform unit testing, regression testing, defect resolution, code reviews, and production support.
• Contribute to technical design, documentation, and application lifecycle management.

Required Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) Power Automate Cloud Flows Microsoft Dataverse Azure Functions and REST APIs SharePoint Online Integration SQL/Azure SQL Power BI Reporting Security, RBAC, Audit Logging, and Governance Azure DevOps and Solution Deployment Practices Agile Development Skills
• Experience working in Scrum teams and participating in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Ability to estimate work, decompose large user stories, and support backlog refinement.
• Strong understanding of user stories, acceptance criteria, and specification-by-example practices. Experience with peer reviews, defect prevention, and collaborate across teams Focus on delivering high-quality, testable, and maintainable solutions within sprint commitments Risk identification.
