Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Python & AI Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Terraform, GitLab, AWS cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven automation. The ideal candidate will lead the development and optimization of GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines, build scalable cloud solutions, implement AI use cases, and automate enterprise processes. This role requires collaboration with Treasury, Risk, Accounting, and Technology teams within a financial services environment to deliver strategic automation and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and maintain coding standards for Python, Terraform, JavaScript, and related technologies.

·       Manage GitLab repositories, projects, and CI/CD pipelines while optimizing pipeline performance.

·       Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

·       Develop Python applications and AI-driven automation solutions using modern AI frameworks.

·       Design and maintain data pipelines, SQL databases, and cloud-based architectures.

·       Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable financial technology solutions.

·       Document solutions, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and mentor team members.

Required Skills

·       8+ years of Python development experience.

·       8+ years of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.

·       8+ years managing GitLab repositories and CI/CD pipelines.

·       Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, Security Groups).

·       Strong SQL knowledge including normalization, indexing, joins, primary and foreign keys.

·       Experience with data pipelines and enterprise IT architecture.

·       Jira Administration, Jira APIs, and Jira Data Model experience.

·       AI implementation experience including Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG, MCP, Multimodal Embeddings, and AI orchestration.

·       Experience with Dash, Flask, React, Angular, or Vue for UI development.

·       Strong Excel VBA skills.

·       Financial Services, Treasury, Risk, Accounting, or Capital Markets experience is preferred.

·       Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
