Job Description:
The Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing cloud-native infrastructure, DevSecOps processes, and platform automation. This role will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to improve the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise platforms while supporting a Neo4j graph database environment.
This position will focus on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating operational tasks, supporting containerized applications, and managing deployments across cloud environments. The Platform Engineer will also troubleshoot infrastructure issues, support platform upgrades, monitor system performance, and help establish best practices for platform operations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with strong DevOps and cloud experience who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building secure, scalable platforms.
Required Skills:
3 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Administration
Experience building, deploying, and supporting Neo4j environments
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools
Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics
Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing
Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and platform issues
Understanding of security concepts including certificates, TLS, and secrets management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
BonSoft Skills:
Experience with RKE or OpenShift Kubernetes environments
Experience with Container Storage Interface (CSI), preferably Portworx CSI
Experience with API gateways and API management platforms
Experience supporting graph database applications
Interest in DevSecOps best practices and platform automation
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong collaboration and documentation skills
Passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable platforms
