Your role As a Buyer/Sr. Buyer, your mission is to efficiently procure materials and services that support manufacturing schedules while ensuring cost-effective purchasing in accordance with sourcing policies and procedures. You will play a key role in high-volume purchasing execution and supplier coordination within the Purchasing organization. You will report to the Sourcing Team Leader.
You will
- Place and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities and departments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with sourcing policies
- Support manufacturing schedules by purchasing materials and services in a cost-effective and efficient manner
- Utilize SAP ERP and e-Sourcing tools to process purchase data, track orders, and provide delivery feedback
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams while maintaining clear, professional communication with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance related to delivery and execution, escalating issues as needed
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Comply with all safety rules, regulations, and OSHA requirements

You have 2+ years of experience, working in sourcing, purchasing, or a related business function
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a technical/manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and execution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
