Description

SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to join our team at Adelphi, MD

The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborating with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Leads the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to optimize IT service management processes.
Leads the development of custom applications, workflows, and integrations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and ITIL standards.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, performing system upgrades, and maintaining
platform security.
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless functionality.
With deep expertise in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow best practices, drive continuous improvement and innovation, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree + Ten (10+) years of experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
ITIL v4 certification
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or equivalent
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred:

Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Experience with JavaScript, Rest APIs and ServiceNow
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
