We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join the team of our exceptional client. This role is focused on leading cloud strategy, architecture, and implementation efforts, with a strong emphasis on building secure, scalable, and enterprise-grade solutions in Microsoft Azure.
This position requires deep hands-on expertise in Azure, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to design and implement infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on builder who can deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.

What will your day look like?
As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will:
• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud architectures, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services
• Lead the development of Azure landing zones, including governance structures such as management groups and subscriptions
• Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or similar platforms
• Architect secure solutions using Zero Trust principles, identity management (Entra ID/Azure AD), and RBAC models
• Implement security controls including Azure Key Vault, encryption strategies, and compliance policies
• Design and manage Azure networking, including hub-spoke architectures, private endpoints, DNS, and routing strategies
• Ensure observability and operational excellence through Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting frameworks
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including failover and backup strategies
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support from design through implementation
You will be a good fit for this role if you have:
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure
• Deep expertise in Terraform (mandatory) for infrastructure automation
• Strong experience designing enterprise Azure architectures across compute, storage, and networking services
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, or equivalent
• Expertise in identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, PIM, and managed identities
• Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including Zero Trust and governance using Azure Policy
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking, including VNETs, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, and private connectivity
• Experience with cloud observability tools and operational monitoring
• Proven ability to design high availability, disaster recovery, and resilient cloud architectures
• Experience with cloud databases, including PostgreSQL (preferred), Azure SQL, or Cosmos DB
• Understanding of database security, performance tuning, and backup/recovery strategies
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience migrating on-premises or other cloud workloads to Azure
• Familiarity with Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery, or lift-and-shift strategies
• Knowledge of FinOps practices and Azure cost management
• Experience with containerization and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) operations
• Background working in regulated industries such as financial services
