RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Manager in Salt Lake City, UT.

Summary:
This leadership role is ideal for someone who combines deep enterprise architecture expertise with strong financial services and regulatory knowledge. The selected individual will lead and mentor a team of architects while partnering directly with senior banking and technology executives to drive modernization, governance, scalability, and alignment between business objectives and enterprise technology strategy.

The Enterprise Architecture Manager will oversee a team of Enterprise Architects focused on business and application architecture. This leader will help define and execute enterprise architecture strategy, drive application modernization initiatives, and ensure technology capabilities align with evolving business priorities, operational goals, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels and must be able to communicate effectively with executive banking leadership using industry and regulatory terminology relevant to financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five Enterprise Architects specializing in business and application architecture
* Define and execute enterprise business and application architecture strategies aligned to organizational objectives and digital transformation initiatives
* Partner closely with banking executives, business stakeholders, product leaders, and technology teams to align technology capabilities with business priorities
* Establish and maintain architecture standards, patterns, governance processes, and best practices
* Guide teams in designing scalable, resilient, secure, and compliant enterprise application architectures
* Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, frameworks, integration strategies, and enterprise platforms

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 10+ years of progressive IT experience with strong expertise in enterprise, business, and application architecture
* 2+ years of leadership experience managing architects or senior technical professionals
* Prior banking, financial services, or highly regulated industry experience required
* Strong understanding of banking operations, financial systems, regulatory considerations, risk management, and governance practices
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with banking executives and business leadership using industry-relevant terminology and concepts
* Experience leading enterprise application modernization and transformation initiatives
* Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF

Strong knowledge of:
* Application architecture patterns (microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture)
* API management and integration platforms
* Application security and information governance
* Data modeling and enterprise systems integration
* Agile methodologies, DevOps, and SDLC practices
* Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
* TOGAF or related architecture certifications are preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
