Technical Director - Data Intelligence & Analytics

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Technical Director - Data Intelligence & Analytics.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:
* Execute the enterprise strategy for software and data platforms in alignment with business goals
* Design scalable and secure systems using modern technologies like .NET, Python, Azure, and cloud-native patterns (e.g., microservices, API-first, real-time data processing)
* Champion Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering excellence to accelerate delivery and innovation
* Spearhead digital transformation initiatives including cloud migrations, legacy modernization, and automation
* Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures supporting high-volume pipelines, real-time insights, and advanced analytics
* Enable AI/ML, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to enhance decision-making and customer experiences
* Leverage tools like Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python to drive meaningful business outcomes
* Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams of software engineers and data engineers
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning that embraces experimentation and excellence
* Collaborate with business, architecture, and product leaders to deliver impactful solutions that improve operations and unlock new opportunities
* Oversee program delivery, vendor partnerships, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise standards
* Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating complex technical ideas into clear business value and guiding digital priorities

REQUIREMENTS:
* Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 required within 12 months of being hired
* Strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives that deliver tangible business results
* Thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited about the potential of AI, machine learning, and real-time data to transform how companies operate
* Excellent communicator who can collaborate seamlessly with executives and engineers alike, translating complex technical data into clear business insights

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
