Role Overview
This position is for a Data Scientist responsible for the initiation, design, development, execution, and implementation of data science research projects. The role requires an individual who can operate with minimal technical direction on complex projects and is viewed as an expert in one or more technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate the feasibility of applying scientific principles and concepts to potential technologies, processes, and products.
- Plan and execute research to prove the feasibility of concepts.
- Build analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, clinical marketing techniques, and business strategies.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to assist them in building and optimizing our product.
- Maintain compliance with all quality requirements to build quality into all aspects of work.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, or 6+ years with a Master of Science (MS) degree.
- Experience in production Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Model (LLM) engineering, including shipping and operating these systems.
- Demonstrated evaluation rigor in complex, high-cardinality classification where labels overlap and outputs feed regulatory workflows.
- Ability to work fluently across clinical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Quality, and IT/Security, translating feedback into architecture and communicating tradeoffs.
Technical Skills:- Expertise with Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with Vector Databases technologies in AWS or Azure.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is from $63.00 to $80.00 per hour. Compensation may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
