Candidates must currently be located in Canada
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with strong expertise in Industrial Automation and Process Control Systems to support field service, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and customer operations across multiple sites in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and maintain DCS, SCADA, and process control systems
Perform hardware/software upgrades and system modifications
Support instrumentation, control systems, and supervisory systems
Conduct system operational testing and commissioning activities
Diagnose and repair process control instrumentation
Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and service records
Participate in project meetings and field engineering activities
Support migrations, expansions, and small automation projects
Follow engineering standards, ISO, and safety procedures
Travel to customer sites across Canada as required
Required Skills:
6 8+ years of experience in Process Control / Industrial Automation
Strong experience with DCS, SCADA, PLC, and Instrumentation Systems
Knowledge of control system hardware, software, and applications
Experience in troubleshooting industrial automation systems
Understanding of process control principles and field operations
Strong communication and customer support skills
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering or related discipline
Preferred Experience:
Field Service Engineering
Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, or Manufacturing industry background
System migrations and control system upgrades
Experience working in plant or industrial environments
Travel Requirement:
Up to 40% travel across Canada
May include remote site and offshore assignments
