Role: Salesforce Administrator

Summary
looking for Salesforce Administrator with foundational development experience to manage, enhance, and support our Salesforce environment. This role combines hands-on administration with light development to drive scalable solutions that support clinical, operational, and business initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong configuration expertise, basic coding skills (Apex, Lightning), and experience with integrations, ensuring the platform meets Innovista Health s compliance, security, and operational standards.
Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration & Configuration
Manage daily administration of the Salesforce platform, including user setup, roles, profiles, and permissions.
Configure objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, approval processes, and Flows.
Maintain data integrity through regular audits, deduplication, and cleansing processes.
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decisions.
Manage sandbox environments, coordinate deployments, and maintain version control.
Automation & Process Optimization
Design and implement automated workflows using Salesforce Flow and Process Builder.
Identify process inefficiencies and optimize for scalability and performance.
Troubleshoot automation issues and system errors.
Development & Customization
Develop and maintain basic Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components (Aura/LWC).
Support custom integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
Write SOQL/SOSL queries for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Integrations & System Enhancements
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Assist with API-based integrations and third-party application connections.
Evaluate Salesforce release updates and recommend platform enhancements.
User Support & Training
Provide Tier-2/3 Salesforce support to business users.
Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide solutions.
Conduct training sessions and maintain user documentation.
Promote Salesforce adoption and adherence to platform best practices.
Release & Governance Management
Manage change sets, deployments, and testing across environments.
Support UAT and unit testing for development and configuration changes.
Ensure compliance with Innovista Health governance, security, and data privacy policies.
Stay current with Salesforce seasonal releases and platform updates.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of Salesforce experience in an Admin or Admin/Developer role.
Salesforce Certified Administrator.
Experience with:
Salesforce Flow
Apex (triggers and classes)
Lightning Experience (Aura and/or LWC)
SOQL/SOSL
Data Loader
Preferred
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integration platforms.
Experience in Agile/Scrum project environments.
Knowledge of DevOps and deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git).
Prior experience in healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST).
