Senior Software Engineer III
Primary Location: Cincinnati, OH
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Senior Software Engineer III for our premier client Cincinnati, OH.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using Java.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Hands-on experience developing microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17 and object-oriented design principles.
Strong knowledge of AWS services such as: - EC2
- ECS/EKS
- IAM
- VPC
- Lambda
- S3
- RDS
- CloudWatch
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles.
- AWS Certification (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
