This role is critical to advancing Hyve's transition from manual, reactive reporting toward automated, scalable, and AI-enabled decision support. The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in shaping data strategy, improving data quality, identifying systemic inefficiencies, and enabling next-level reporting and intelligent, agent-based analytics capabilities across the organization.

  • Identify systemic data issues, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies, and drive actionable recommendations
  • Design and implement scalable data models, reporting frameworks, and automated solutions to reduce manual analysis
  • Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems, ensuring integrity and alignment with business and financial expectations
  • Partner with IT and system engineering teams to improve data architecture, accessibility, and long-term scalability
  • Proactively identify opportunities to support emerging business needs across departments, adapting analyses and reporting accordingly
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and advanced analytics to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, insights, and narratives that inform strategic decisions
  • Act as a subject matter expert bridging business processes and data systems across multiple functional areas
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment on data-driven solutions
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and ensure resolution of data and process issues
  • Contribute to enterprise data governance strategy, standards, and documentation to improve data reliability

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; strong experience working with large, complex datasets; SQL proficiency preferred. Experience with data table analysis.
  • Proven ability to independently structure and solve ambiguous business problems across multiple domains
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a high degree of ownership and accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep experience supporting Financial Operations, Accounting, Supply Chain, or operational analytics
  • Experience with ERP systems, data warehouses, and complex data environments
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and executive reporting
  • Experience with Python, R, or similar tools for advanced analytics
  • Experience supporting audit-related analysis and building repeatable audit frameworks
  • Experience designing and implementing automated reporting solutions or data pipelines
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools applied to business analytics and automation
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or data center environments

Competencies

  • Problem Structuring and Independent Decision Making
  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Influence
  • Adaptability and Business Agility
  • Data Storytelling and Executive Communication
  • Attention to Detail and Data Integrity
