Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and hands-on experience with application development, APIs, databases, and modern development frameworks.

The candidate will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, QA engineers, and business teams to develop reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions that address real-world business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop application features based on business and technical requirements.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to develop queries, data models, and data-access components.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Work with version control systems and follow software development and coding best practices.
• Support application deployment and troubleshooting across development, testing, and production environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, stand-ups, and technical design discussions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Document technical solutions, application changes, and development processes.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and development practices to improve existing applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Application Development, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience with Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar programming language.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience developing web applications, backend services, APIs, or enterprise software applications.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and Microservices.
• Strong SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, Python, Node.js, or React.
• Experience developing and maintaining Microservices and distributed applications.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Knowledge of Redis, caching, and application performance optimization.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI APIs, or integrating AI capabilities into software applications.
• Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, or other enterprise domains.
