Key Responsibilities:

Python (Expert): Deep experience with Python used for core development and automation.
Cloud Proficiency (Azure or AWS): Deep experience in one of the major cloud providers, with the ability to pivot to Azure rapidly.
Modern Data Tooling: Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake to lead platform modernization.
MS Fabric: Practical knowledge to support and maintain the existing data ecosystem.

Architectural Frameworks: Expert-level implementation of Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) and Data Lakehouse patterns.
Data Reliability: Mastery of Data Observability (monitoring health) and automated Quality Checks.
Governance & Discovery: Building and maintaining Data Catalogs to ensure data is searchable and well-documented.
Warehouse Design: Proven track record in traditional and modern Data Warehousing concepts.

Proactive Mentorship: A senior-level ability to coach, guide, and upskill junior engineers as they settle into the team.
High-Energy Communication: An extroverted and proactive personality; someone who takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.
Adaptive Learning: The capacity to quickly master the Data Domain (industry-specific logic) and new technologies (like the move to Azure/Fabric).
