Pay Rate:$66.67 per hour (W2 ONLY)
** Must reside locally or willing to relocate at your own expense**
HYBRID: MUST be able to work ONSITE 4 days per week (mandatory).
Assume the role of Mainframe Systems SME and assist the Project Manager and/or Team Manager on various Parts Applications projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Analyze business requirements and create and manage the completion of units of work completed by the successful candidate and other team members.
Assigned units of work vary from 100 hour enhancements, up to team member on a large project.
Gathering requirements, functional and Detailed analysis/design, testing (unit, integration, system, user acceptance), implementation, documentation, warranty.
Defining architectural solutions to meet application requirements.
Providing project status updates to Project Mgr/Leads:
30-40% - Analysis/Design roughly
30-40% - Development (code, unit test, int test, system test, UAT, Implement, Warranty) roughly
20-40% - Architectural solutions roughly
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
**Candidates MUST have extensive experience with IMS (understands IMS data structures, PSBs, DBDs, segments, and access paths ) to be considered for this role**
Must have RECENT/CURRENT hands-on coding (COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS, DB2) to support all phases of the System Development Life Cycle .
Must have experience as a Business Systems Analyst, gathering requirements, functional and detailed analysis/design, testing, implementation, and documentation
Experience working in Microsoft Development technologies, such as .Net core, MVC.Net, C#, and/or Angular is a plus.
Working knowledge of Software Engineering, Software Development, Solutions Architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms
Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines across the enterprise Understanding of technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices Technical aptitude of multi-tier and cross platform architectures across the enterprise.
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodology.
