Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Team Lead to join our CX team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading software development activities, system configuration, and technical design for the Oracle Commerce Cloud platform. You will serve as the technical lead for high-profile ecommerce platforms, ensuring the delivery of production-ready storefronts through a team of talented developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of developers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality storefront solutions on schedule.
- Project Lifecycle: Support full project delivery including discovery, technical design, development, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Development & Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration and development within OCC, including widgets, elements, custom Knockout data-binding, components, actions, and endpoints.
- Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between OCC and external applications (ERP, CPQ, etc.) using OIC, SSE, and REST APIs.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex defects, identify workarounds, and provide technical support for software application issues.
- Standards & Best Practices: Participate in defining coding standards and implementation best practices; document and deliver technical specifications to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior teammates and stay updated on emerging technologies and enhanced features within the OCC ecosystem.
- Project Management: Manage and report on technical assignments under Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- OCC Expertise: 4 6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Commerce Cloud, specifically with multi-site, multi-language, and multi-currency configurations.
- Frameworks: Proficiency with both Classic and OSF (Open Storefront Framework).
- Storefront Knowledge: Proven experience developing and configuring both B2B and B2C storefronts.
- Technical Stack: Deep knowledge of KnockoutJS, ReactJS, Node.js, Express, jQuery, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Ajax.
- Integrations: Hands-on experience with Webhooks, Payment Gateways, SSO, and Analytics. Experience with OIC (preferred), Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Tools: Experience with code repositories (BitBucket, GitHub), CI/CD processes, and change management tools like JIRA.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Configurable Products and CPQ integrations.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Oracle Commerce Cloud Certification.
- Certifications in OIC or other Oracle CX applications (Field Service, Sales and Service, Subscription Management, or CPQ).
