Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SQL Developer with 9+ years of experience for an onsite role in Alabama. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database development, performance tuning, and handling large-scale data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning
Work with large-scale databases and ensure high performance and availability
Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration processes
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and translate requirements
Implement data models, indexing strategies, and database architecture improvements
Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term solutions
Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards
Mentor junior developers and guide best practices
Required Skills:
9+ years of strong SQL development experience
Expertise in SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MySQL
Strong hands-on experience in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
Experience in ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)
Experience in handling large datasets and complex joins
Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling
