Description SAIC is looking to hire an
Enterprise Architect Director to support the United States Coast Guard located onsite in Washington, DC.
The candidate will support key efforts such as the United States Coast Guard's Force Design 2028 (FD28), a multi-year transformation initiative aimed at improving service delivery, modernizing organizational structures, advancing technology, strengthening workforce readiness, and fostering innovation while maintaining continuity.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute solutions aligned with transformative programs such as FD28, focusing on policy alignment, technology modernization, and workforce integration.
Direct through subordinate management to oversee multiple related departments and functions. Guide long-term operational growth and enterprise-level transformation activities.
Collaborate with senior leadership to establish policies and prioritize objectives aligned with broader organizational goals. Interpret and recommend adaptations to company-wide policies to enable modernization.
Provide expert-level strategic guidance on enterprise transformation, including improving frontline service delivery, accelerating innovation, and implementing data-driven decision-making initiatives.
Lead acquisition efforts and capability integration to align organizational objectives with emerging technologies and strategic imperatives.
Design and implement optimized organizational structures and talent management workflows to strengthen workforce readiness and talent retention.
Collaborate with senior management to set long-term objectives and monitor outcomes. Develop innovative solutions aligned with enterprise goals, while managing high-risk decisions with significant organizational impact.
Ensure decision-making minimizes disruptions, prevents delays, and avoids unnecessary expenditures of human resources, funds, or time.
Serve as a trusted senior-level advisor on matters of significance to the organization, providing business and technical briefings to executive leadership and external representatives.
Actively engage with C-level leaders, military stakeholders, and technology partners to advance strategic goals and maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Active Secret Clearance ()
- Minimum of 15-20 years of senior leadership experience within, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Federal civilian agencies OR large-scale commercial enterprises supporting federal missions
- 10 years of experience with working with Technology Modernization Requirements
- 10 years of experience with Data, Analytics & Knowledge Management
- 10 years of experience with Executive Strategy & Governance
Target salary range: $280,001 - $320,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
