We are looking for an experienced .NET Application Architect in Harrisburg, PA. This is a 100% onsite, local-only opportunity for an architect with deep expertise in .NET, SQL Server, enterprise application architecture, and application modernization.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise .NET applications.
- Strong experience as an Application/Solution Architect on enterprise-scale .NET and SQL Server projects.
- Expert knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Web API, Clean Architecture, Dependency Injection, Minimal APIs, and Async/Await.
- Advanced SQL Server expertise including T-SQL optimization, execution plans, indexing strategies, security (RLS, DDM), and Always On Availability Groups.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot for .NET/C# development, including advanced configuration and team enablement.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating legacy data to modern application data models.
- Strong knowledge of Secure SDLC, API Security, Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, CI/CD, and enterprise governance.
- Experience designing scalable enterprise architectures, REST APIs, integrations, and DevSecOps practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Public Sector, Utilities, or other regulated industry experience.
- Experience with IBM FileNet/BAW and legacy modernization initiatives.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
