iSeries WebSphere Liberty ND Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an experienced iSeries WebSphere Liberty Network Deployment Consultant to support a short-term professional services engagement involving the installation and configuration of Liberty Network Deployment, the paid version of WebSphere Liberty, along with deployment support for a business application running in an iSeries/i environment. This role requires someone who can independently install, configure, validate, and support knowledge transfer for the client's technical team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install and configure WebSphere Liberty Network Deployment
* Deploy and integrate the client's application within the iSeries/i environment
* Support setup and configuration on iSeries/i servers
* Validate installation, configuration, application deployment, and environment readiness
* Troubleshoot configuration or deployment issues as needed
* Provide basic documentation and knowledge transfer to the client team
* Work with client technical stakeholders to ensure successful completion within the project timeline

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Liberty Network Deployment
* Prior experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server or related IBM WebSphere products
* Familiarity with IBM iSeries/IBM i environments
* Experience installing, configuring, and validating enterprise application server environments
* Ability to deploy and integrate applications in IBM middleware environments
* Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
* Ability to work independently in a short-term consulting engagement

Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience supporting application deployments on IBM i
* Experience with short-term professional services or project-based consulting engagements
* Experience working with both onshore and remote delivery teams
* Ability to provide client-facing knowledge transfer and technical documentation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
