Data Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Daytona Beach, FL that is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Specialist to support data management, integrity, and reporting functions within our organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable working with large datasets while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform accurate and timely data entry across multiple systems
* Maintain and improve data integrity, including identifying, correcting, and preventing data errors
* Clean, validate, and standardize datasets to ensure consistency and reliability
* Utilize Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables) to analyze and manage data
* Generate reports and assist with data-driven decision-making
* Communicate with suppliers to gather, verify, and update data as needed
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data processes are followed and improved
* Proactively identify data discrepancies and recommend solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience with data entry and data management
* Proven ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: VLOOKUPs; Pivot Tables
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
* Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to ask questions when needed
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with external partners
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
* Self-reliant and proactive
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ERP systems (such as Oracle)
* Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms
* Previous experience working with supplier or vendor data

Tech - Must have:
* Data Entry
* Data Integrity - Cleaning up the data
* Excel - V-look ups/Pivot Tables and detail-oriented - first interview, the hiring manager, will test this person

Tech- Nice to have:
* ERP/Oracle
* ServiceNow

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
