Lead Functional Consultant

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Functional Consultant in Oviedo, FL.

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior D365 Finance Functional Lead to drive the design, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM). This role partners closely with Finance stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that maximize standard D365 functionality and support long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead functional design and configuration of D365 Finance solutions across General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and related processes
* Conduct business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, and future-state solution design
* Promote a configure-before-customize approach, leveraging standard D365 capabilities whenever possible
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, consultants, and technology teams to define and implement solutions
* Lead testing, user acceptance activities, deployment readiness, training support, and post-go-live optimization
* Troubleshoot complex functional issues involving finance processes, integrations, data, and cross-module dependencies
* Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, automation, and adoption of best practices
* Serve as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership and provide governance for solution changes and enhancements
* Mentor team members and support knowledge transfer across the organization

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
* 6+ years of ERP, business systems, and D365 Finance experience, including multiple end-to-end D365 F&SCM implementations
* Proven experience leading the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization
* Experience collaborating with business leaders, implementation partners, developers, and cross-functional teams to drive successful ERP outcomes
* Deep expertise in D365 Finance modules including General Ledger, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, workflows, financial dimensions, posting, and reporting
* Strong understanding of Finance integration with Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Projects, reporting, and data solutions
* Skilled in evaluating and delivering solutions using standard D365 functionality before recommending customization
* Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, requirements analysis, communication, and problem-solving abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
