Desktop Technician

Job Description

We're seeking a Desktop Support professional to play a key role in an upcoming Windows 11 migration project. This is a 2-3+ month onsite opportunity in Menomonee Falls, WI, supporting the rollout of new laptops and workstations at a corporate facility. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of technology transformation-deploying new hardware, resolving break/fix issues, and providing hands-on support to end users as they transition to Windows 11. You'll collaborate closely with users, ensuring a smooth deployment experience and quickly addressing any post-migration OS or hardware issues. This position is highly user-facing, so exceptional customer service is just as important as technical skill. While the initial engagement is project-based, there is potential for extension.
Schedule: Onsite, 5 days per week in Menomonee Falls, WI

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or higher
• 5-7 years of technical support experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Flexibility to occasionally work nights or weekends if needed
• Demonstrated experience supporting Windows operating systems in a corporate network environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
