What are your contributions to the team?
  • Act as a liaison between Bombardier Defense Engineering and the customer's engineering organizations
  • Facilitate customer viewing of Bombardier Defense protected data as required
  • Act as first technical point of contact for the customer and support technical customer relations on behalf of Bombardier
  • Engage with customer to be able to provide customer risks or issues back to Bombardier Defense Engineering
  • Integrate with the customer to ensure Bombardier Engineering compliance for customer technical and schedule requirements
  • Facilitate customer driven changes into Bombardier Change Board activity
  • Communicate with Bombardier and customer stakeholders to ensure there is solid alignment and coordination
  • Support Bombardier stakeholders by providing customer status to assist with regular governance updates
  • Daily working location would be on-site at either of the customer locations (Greenville, TX / Rockwall, TX) depending on the needs of the program and customer
How to thrive in this role?
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of technical leadership experience
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of technical engineering experience in aerospace
  • You possess an excellent understanding and relevant experience in the aircraft development environment from conceptual design to aircraft certification
  • You demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills such that you are able to communicate, align and influence stakeholders
  • You must have strong communication skills and situational judgement to ensure clear, consistent, and timely sharing of information within the team and both companies
  • You are a self-starter/self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills to support multiple tasks with little direct oversight
  • You have a strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems and special mission equipment (preferred)
  • You have knowledge of ITAR regulations and previous experience in government and/or military programs
  • You qualify as U.S persons under U.S. export control laws
  • You are eligible to view and handle ITAR/Controlled Goods material
  • You are available to travel to Bombardier facilities
