Role Overview 
We are seeking a DevOps Architect / Senior Consultant to lead a pipeline migration initiative from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Harness. This role involves defining migration strategy, designing scalable CI/CD pipelines, and building automation architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead pipeline migration strategy from ADO to Harness

• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipeline architecture

• Develop reusable templates and modules in Harness

• Optimize pipeline performance, efficiency, and maintainability

• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards

• Evaluate and recommend DevOps best practices

• Analyze existing build and release pipelines and migrate workflows

• Provide documentation and stakeholder presentations

  Required Skills & Expertise 
Harness Platform

• Hands-on experience with Harness CI/CD setup, pipelines, and workflows

• Knowledge of:

  • Templates and reusable modules

  • Secrets management

  • Governance and integrations

Azure DevOps (ADO) & GitHub Actions

• Strong experience analyzing and managing existing pipelines

• Expertise in YAML-based pipeline definitions

• Experience migrating:

  • Pipeline steps

  • Triggers

  • Approvals

  • Environments

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)   Terraform

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Terraform modules and providers

  • State management

• Experience migrating Terraform workflows into Harness

• Familiarity with Terraform Cloud/Enterprise (preferred)

Kubernetes (K8s)

• Solid understanding of container orchestration

• Experience deploying applications using:

  • Helm charts

  • Kubernetes manifests

  • Terraform

CI/CD & DevOps Practices

• Strong understanding of:

  • CI/CD principles and pipeline-as-code

  • GitOps methodologies

  • DevSecOps (security & compliance)

  • Observability and monitoring integrations

 Additional Requirements

• Strong architecture-level understanding of DevOps tools

• Ability to evaluate quality gates and governance models

• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
