Client’s Corporate Group is hiring for an IT Service Continuity Analyst.
The IT Service Continuity Analyst plays a key role in supporting IT service continuity by
facilitating BIA and risk‑related data collection, maintaining and updating continuity and
recovery documentation, and coordinating training, exercises, and testing activities.
Working closely with service and business owners and the IT Service Continuity Lead, the
Analyst helps ensure continuity information is complete and reliable, and supports training
and testing efforts that help the organization strengthen resilience and validate readiness.
Job Responsibilities
1. Collect, organize, and compile data, metrics, and supporting documentation for
program readiness, key indicators, risks, recovery gaps, and improvement initiatives,
preparing reporting materials for the Lead’s review and submission to IT Governance
Committee.
2. Prepare evidence, documentation, and supporting materials for audit, customer, and
regulatory requests, escalating issues to the Lead as needed.
3. Coordinate and maintain Service Continuity work items within the Agile toolset by
ensuring tasks are properly documented, updated, and aligned to program objectives and
progressing as planned, and by communicating progress, dependencies, and required inputs
across teams to support timely execution and advance the program roadmap.
4. Support the BCM planning tool through user access assistance, second‑level
end‑user support, and creation and maintenance of workflow‑ready records to ensure
templates, procedures, and documentation remain accurate and aligned to program needs.
5. Support BIA and risk assessment activities by facilitating the collection and
documentation of input data from service and business owners, ensuring the capture of
RTO/RPO, criticality, interdependencies, and key risk factors such as impact, likelihood, and
mitigating controls within the workflow.
6. Support IT teams in developing and maintaining continuity and recovery plans by
ensuring documentation is complete, current, and aligned to standard requirements,
providing practical guidance and best practices, and coordinating with stakeholders to
address cross‑functional dependencies.
7. Support delivery of training and awareness activities by coordinating logistics,
preparing materials, and assisting IT teams in understanding and applying assess, plan,
exercise, and respond processes.
8. Support recovery exercises and tests by coordinating schedules, preparing and
distributing materials, documenting activities and results, capturing observations and
improvement opportunities, and recording corrective actions in the BCM platform.
9. Support recovery response efforts by remaining readily available when recovery is
required or likely to be required, assisting with documentation of response activities, and
providing operational support under the direction of the Lead.
Education/Experience Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or
related discipline; or equivalent experience.
2. 3-5 years of experience in IT service continuity, business continuity, operational
resilience, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, IT operations, IT risk management, or IT service
management.
3. Experience working in complex, distributed IT environments with diverse
infrastructure and application dependencies.
4. Experience supporting documentation, planning, testing, or analysis activities
across IT services within structured processes or workflows.
5. Exposure to incident, change, or problem management processes within an ITILaligned environment.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support
stakeholder understanding of continuity and recovery processes.
7. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow structured
processes, and produce accurate, complete documentation.
8. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and functions,
building trust through consistency and clear communication.
9. Ability to remain reliable and responsive in situations where recovery support is
required or likely, assisting with response activities under time-sensitive or ambiguous
conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM) or
similar continuity planning platforms.
2. Experience supporting continuity or disaster recovery testing, including scheduling,
documentation, and corrective action tracking using established standards such as ITIL, ISO
22301, ISO 27031, NIST SP 800‑34, or other operational resilience standards.
3. Experience preparing materials or evidence for governance committees, risk
groups, audit teams, or senior leadership reviews.
4. Experience updating and maintaining continuity‑related templates, procedures, or
workflow documentation under direction from program leadership.
5. Relevant certifications preferred (not required), such as ITIL Foundation, BCI/DRII
entry‑level certifications, AMBCI/MBCI, COBIT, or ISACA certifications (CISM/CRISC).
