Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee critical Safety & Security digital technology initiatives in Washington, DC. The role will provide leadership for high-priority, ongoing safety and security projects, driving the implementation, optimization, and operational management of the Everbridge Business Continuity & Incident Center (BCIC) platform.

Working closely with enterprise stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors, the Project Manager will ensure seamless project execution, system integration, business continuity, and robust incident management capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Manage the end-to-end execution of digital technology projects focused on organizational safety, emergency management, incident response, and business continuity.
• Everbridge Platform Management: Lead the operational administration, integration, optimization, and platform strategy for the Everbridge Business Continuity & Incident Center (BCIC) suite.
• Project Transition & Leadership: Take ownership of ongoing and complex initiatives, establishing structure, governance, priorities, and execution plans to maintain project momentum.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams, vendor representatives, and business leaders to align technology solutions with safety, emergency response, and business continuity requirements.
• Risk & Performance Management: Track project performance, manage risks and dependencies, establish mitigation plans, and provide executive-level status reporting on project milestones and platform adoption.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Everbridge solutions, advising stakeholders on best practices for critical event management, emergency communications, and mass notifications.

Qualifications

• Project Management: 5+ years of dedicated Project Management experience leading enterprise IT or digital technology initiatives.
• Everbridge Expertise: Hands-on experience and strong knowledge of the Everbridge platform, specifically the Business Continuity & Incident Center (BCIC) product line.
• Safety & Business Continuity: Proven experience managing projects involving Safety & Security, emergency mass notification, critical event management, incident response, or business continuity.
• Complex Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to step into ongoing, complex projects and rapidly establish structure, governance, priorities, and leadership.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Certifications: PMP certification or an equivalent business continuity credential such as CBCP is preferred.
