Project Manager of Voice Radio and Communication (Microwave) Tower Modernization Projects
Day to Day:
· Lead large, complex strategic projects, assuming accountability for delivering results
· Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using PMO tools and templates
· Collaborate with stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
· Act as a liaison between technical teams, operational teams, and executive stakeholders.
· Partner with Engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, and field operations to guide system design, network architecture, and regulatory compliance.
· Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
· Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Ensure system reliability and security are addressed during the planning and execution phases.
· Execute procurement and contracting activities, tracking, and reporting according to NWN policies and procedures.
· Conduct analyses to estimate and track project costs and budgets
· Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers
· Manage vendor relationships to align vendor schedules, costs, and deliverables with the overall project plan
· Ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.
· Establish, maintain, and update project risk log. Resolve project issues and escalate as appropriate
Skills and Qualifications:
· 7+ years of progressive project management leadership experience
· Cybersecurity, Compliance, OT, Network and Infrastructure PM background
· Power utility experience preferred
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, budget management expertise and experience in cybersecurity and network communications systems within the Field, OT and IT environments.
· Experience with Identity and Access Management, Cybersecurity, Network, Service Delivery and Radio or Microwave technologies preferred.
· Domain knowledge of TSA and or Regulatory cybersecurity and compliance practices helpful.
· Domain knowledge of Firewall and Network Communications helpful.
· Domain knowledge of the considerations between OT and IT environments.
