Summary

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

Our client is looking for a ServiceNow Developer that requires a ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME). The primary focus of this position is to design, develop, customize, and automate ServiceNow solutions that integrate with client''s systems and business processes.

The entire team operates remotely, with communication conducted primarily through Microsoft Teams chat and virtual meetings.

Tasks

·        Working with change management modules, system configurations, workflow automation, and documentation.

·        Will collaborate with a team consisting of three architects and one project manager. While teamwork and collaboration are essential, this role is highly independent and requires the ability to manage work with minimal supervision.

·        Will serve as a technical expert and trusted resource throughout the implementation and ongoing support of the platform.

·        Participate in the full ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

·        Design and configure ServiceNow modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management), ITAM (IT Asset Management), and others based on business needs.

·        Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other relevant technologies.

·        Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.

·        Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align solutions with organizational goals.

·        Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and solutions. Ensure that best practices and ITIL frameworks are followed. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.

·        Assist with upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure platform stability and enhancement of functionality.

·        Meticulous attention to detail and strong sense of desire to deliver high-quality work products

·        Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders

·        Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team

Location: Madison, WI  

Candidate must be a CURRENT WI resident. NO relocation allowed.100% remote within the State of Wisconsin with onsite meetings 1-2x a quarter. Interviews will happen on 9/9 and 9/10 via one round of MS Teams.

Contract: 1+ years

Skills Required:

·        6-9 years - Fluency in various programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, and Glide scripting and SQL

·        6-9 years - ServiceNow development, such as scripting, workflows, and integrations

·        6-9 years - Creating ServiceNow Business Rules, and UI Policies

·        6-9 years - Demonstrated expertise in at least two SNOW modules (e.g. ITSM, ITAM, CSM, etc.)

·        Experience with Agile development methodologies

·        Understanding of development operations (DevOps) 

·        Understanding of software security

·        Training in software engineering

·        Knowledge of data structures and algorithms 

·        Expertise with REST/SOAP APIs

·        Experience with Flow Designer and Service Portal

·        Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

 Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·        ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

·        Certified Application Developer (CAD)
