About the Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Multimedia Communications Specialist to join our dynamic web content team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining and enhancing our client’s external-facing website, ensuring it remains accessible, engaging, and optimized for every user. You will partner closely with organizational content owners and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling digital experiences that reflect our brand standards and uphold industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Management & Publishing: Maintain and update website content using Sitecore CMS, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guides. Design, format, and publish approved content across various sections of the site.
• Website Optimization & Accessibility: Implement accessibility improvements in line with WCAG standards, optimize media for performance and responsiveness, and enhance search engine visibility through SEO best practices such as metadata, headings, and internal linking.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content audits to verify relevance and functionality, troubleshoot and resolve issues such as broken links or missing assets, and ensure compliance with branding and legal standards.
• Technical Collaboration: Support testing and deployment of new website features, components, and templates. Monitor site performance and resolve CMS-related issues promptly.
• Analytics & Reporting: Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Siteimprove, and Microsoft Clarity to track, analyze, and report on content performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate effectively with content owners, designers, developers, and stakeholders to align web content with organizational goals and user needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in web content creation, management, or digital communications.
• Proven expertise with Sitecore or similar Content Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of web design principles, including responsive design, UX best practices, and accessibility guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with SEO strategies, metadata optimization, and digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Siteimprove, or Microsoft Clarity.
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design/Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience with search engine administration (e.g., Coveo) and usability testing is a plus.
• Utilities-focused content management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
