Geospatial Application Developer (GIS Developer)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: Multi-Year Contract
Position Description
We are seeking a GIS Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of GIS web applications and geospatial data solutions for a public-sector infrastructure initiative.
The ideal candidate will have experience building web-based GIS applications using Esri technologies and supporting geospatial data services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain GIS web applications and mapping solutions.
Support ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online environments.
Publish and manage GIS layers and feature services.
Support spatial data validation and GIS troubleshooting activities.
Develop front-end GIS components and interactive maps.
Coordinate with GIS leads, architects, and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of GIS application development experience.
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
Experience with Esri Experience Builder or Web AppBuilder.
Strong JavaScript and GIS web application development experience.
Knowledge of spatial data and GIS services.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting transportation or infrastructure programs.
Exposure to public-sector GIS projects.
Familiarity with GIS dashboards and reporting integrations.
