PGD Financial Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a PGD Financial Analyst in West Palm Beach, FL.

Summary:
The Financial Analyst role will support a data transformation project that aims to rethink the way the Power Generation Division performs financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure Data Integration & Governance: Partner with IT and data teams to support integrations between SAC and SAP S/4HANA, BW, or other source systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and proper model governance
* Support Development of Forecasting and Planning Models: Contribute to the design and validation of driver-based forecasting models and planning structures within SAC by supplying financial logic, operational assumptions, and performance metrics
* Facilitate Cross-Functional Communication and User Adoption: Act as a liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and the SAC development team to support user acceptance testing (UAT), document requirements, and change management efforts
* Leverage AI to Enhance Financial Analysis and Process Efficiency: Utilize artificial intelligence tools to streamline financial analysis, automate routine reporting tasks, enhance forecasting insights, and improve overall productivity, while applying sound financial judgment and governance standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* A strong candidate will have knowledge in financial management, financial modeling, SAP, and SAC; Additionally, we are seeking individuals that leverage AI in all daily work
* SAP & Enterprise Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA, BW, or related modules) with an understanding of data structures, financial postings, and integration across systems
* Advanced Financial Modeling Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and validate driver-based financial models; strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational inputs into financial outcomes
* SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Proficiency: Experience supporting SAC planning and reporting solutions, including familiarity with planning models, data actions, workflows, version management, and story functionality
* AI-Enabled Work Practices: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, improve reporting efficiency, and generate data-driven insights; Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply professional judgment in financial decision-making
* Process Improvement & Transformation Mindset: Experience participating in financial system implementations or process transformation initiatives, with a focus on standardization, automation, and continuous improvement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
