Senior Staff Supplier Development Engineer (Plastics Injection Molding) Location: Acton, MA

Are you an experienced Plastics or Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in injection molding, tooling, and supplier development? Key Responsibilities
- Lead injection molding tooling and manufacturing process development across suppliers.
- Review plastic and silicone component designs for manufacturability (DFM).
- Analyze mold flow studies, tooling concepts, and manufacturing risks.
- Drive supplier process improvements, corrective actions, and root cause investigations.
- Support new product introductions, tooling launches, and capital equipment implementation.
- Develop tooling standards, best practices, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead technical reviews for molding cells, automation, vision systems, and process controls.
- Ensure suppliers maintain accurate drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
- 8+ years of experience in injection molding tooling, plastics manufacturing, or supplier development.
- Strong knowledge of scientific molding, mold design, mold flow analysis, and silicone processing.
- Experience leading supplier quality improvements and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Six Sigma experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
