Job Title: Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Production)

Position Summary
One of my clients is seeking a strong, detail-oriented Production Analyst to join our Corporate Finance and Regulatory Reporting team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation, validation, and submission of key regulatory reports, with a primary focus on the FR Y-9C and FFIEC 031/041 Call Reports. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of bank holding company (BHC) schedules, strict regulatory controls, and data aggregation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Report Production & Submission
Manage the end-to-end production cycle for the FR Y-9C (Consolidated Financial Statements for Holding Companies) and FFIEC Call Reports, ensuring strict adherence to Federal Reserve and FFIEC filing deadlines.
Oversee the accurate preparation of complex regulatory schedules, including but not limited to the Balance Sheet (Schedule HC), Income Statement (Schedule HI), Risk-Weighted Assets (Schedule HC-R), and Regulatory Capital.
Review and validate data from underlying source systems (e.g., General Ledger, Loan/Deposit subledgers) to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
Control Environment & Compliance
Execute and monitor rigorous internal controls, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and review procedures over all reported data points.
Maintain thorough documentation and evidence of controls to ensure compliance with SOX and internal audit standards.
Actively identify anomalies, research root causes, and prepare detailed executive commentary regarding quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) variances for senior management review.
Continuous Improvement & System Enhancements:
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system enhancements related to regulatory reporting software (e.g., AxiomSL, Oracle OFSAA).
Continuously monitor updates to Federal Reserve and FFIEC instructions, ensuring the bank''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s reporting logic and mapping rules remain compliant with current accounting and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of regulatory reporting experience within a large regional or money-center bank holding company.
Subject Matter Expertise: Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing FR Y-9C and FFIEC Call Reports. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and Basel III regulatory capital calculations.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with enterprise regulatory reporting engines (e.g., AxiomSL) and data aggregation tools is highly preferred.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex regulatory instructions, perform variance analysis, and communicate technical financial data to non-technical stakeholders
