Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Informatica Lead with 15+ years of IT experience to lead enterprise-scale ETL, data integration, and data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, PL/SQL, Data Modeling, and Enterprise Data Integration while providing technical leadership to onsite and offshore teams.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can design scalable ETL solutions, optimize database performance, and collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Informatica-based ETL solutions.
• Design and develop complex Informatica mappings, mapplets, sessions, workflows, and reusable components.
• Translate business requirements into scalable ETL workflows, source-to-target mappings, and database designs.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries.
• Design logical and physical data models, relational tables, indexes, constraints, and dimensional models.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, DBAs, QA, and application teams to deliver enterprise data integration solutions.
• Lead onsite and offshore development teams through code reviews, mentoring, design reviews, and delivery planning.
• Troubleshoot ETL, database, performance, and production issues while implementing long-term solutions.
• Optimize Informatica workflows and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Operational Data Store, and Reporting initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.
• Prepare technical design documents, deployment guides, data mapping documents, and production support documentation.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile methodologies, data governance, and enterprise coding standards.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience in Data Integration, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and related Informatica tools.
• Expert-level PL/SQL and advanced SQL development experience.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, normalization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Data Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Star Schema, and Snowflake Schema.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
• Expertise in Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM), ETL design patterns, data validation, reconciliation, and batch processing.
• Experience leading onsite/offshore development teams.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, release management, and production support.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise data warehouse modernization initiatives.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience working with distributed Agile teams.
• Strong documentation and technical leadership experience.
