Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our team supporting a high-impact sanctions screening program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Oracle, Unix, CI/CD, and Autosys and a proven ability to deliver robust, scalable application enhancements and new features on time.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and unit test application components in Java within an Agile environment.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, project leads, and technical architects.
- Implement system enhancements and new features for sanctions screening solutions.
- Deploy and operate services on OpenShift and Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines.
- Support batch scheduling and automation using Autosys and Unix shell.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure application reliability and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java development, REST services, and unit testing frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Oracle database design and SQL performance tuning.
- Unix shell scripting and CI/CD tooling expertise.
- Autosys job scheduling and batch operations.
- Strong communication skills and effective teamwork.
- Ability to deliver with minimal supervision while meeting timelines and quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in sanctions screening or financial crime compliance domains.
- Exposure to niche vendor screening tools.
- Background with Hadoop or distributed data processing.
