Job Description:
Java Full Stack Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Role Overview

This position involves the design, development, and ownership of feature delivery for a critical financial services application. The role requires adherence to enterprise standards for solution design and coding while ensuring high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a team lead, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with product owners to maintain a well-defined product backlog.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and take ownership of feature delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Adhere to enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure solutions meet product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
  • Oversee compliance and security requirements, including audit support.
  • Act as a liaison for production activities and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a well-defined product backlog.
  • Guide the team in work breakdown and efficient task execution.
  • Serve as a team lead and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
  • Provide expertise in planning, estimation, and peer reviews.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring 5, Hibernate, and Spring MVC/Batch.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as GIT/Bitbucket or Subversion.
  • Experience with WebLogic Server, performance tuning, and ETL processes.
  • Strong querying and PL/SQL skills with Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency in frontend development with JavaScript, CSS, and frameworks like React, Angular 17 or above, and Node.js.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Proficiency with test automation using Selenium and Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Understanding of microservices-based architecture.
