Summary

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead specializing in S/4HANA Service (formerly Customer Service/Service Management) to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of comprehensive Service and Warranty Claims processes. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Warranty Claims (LO-WTY/S/4 Service Warranty) and proven success leading cross-functional teams in complex manufacturing or automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for S/4HANA Service and Warranty, aligning complex business requirements with standard SAP functionalities
  • Configure SAP S/4 Service Warranty components including warranty types, claim processing, validation rules, and approval workflows
  • Design, map, and implement service scenarios covering service orders, notifications, in-house repairs, return parts logistics, and settlement
  • Drive integration across Warranty/Service with SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance/Controlling), and Asset Management modules
  • Manage vendor warranty recovery processes to enable manufacturer reimbursement from suppliers.
  • Lead testing cycles (UT, SIT, UAT), oversee data migration efforts, and manage cutover activities
  • Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications (RICEFW)
  • Manage and coordinate onshore/offshore team members
  • Provide hypercare support, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of service operations
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience: 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3-5+ years specifically in SAP Warranty Management
  • S/4HANA Expertise: Minimum of 3-4 full-cycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA Service (S/4 Service or CS/SM)
  • Warranty Knowledge: Hands-on experience configuring and managing warranty claims processing including claim creation, validation, processing workflows, and settlement in SAP S/4HANA Service Warranty module
  • Integration: Strong understanding of S4HANA Pricing, Financial Accounting, and Service Contract integration
  • Technical Familiarity: Experience with SAP Fiori apps for service and basic ABAP/debugging skills for collaboration with technical teams
  • Documentation: Ability to prepare functional documentation and work with technical teams (ABAP, Fiori).
  • Industry Background: Experience in Manufacturing sectors strongly preferred
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with SAP FSM (Field Service Management)
  • Experience with SAP ACS Warranty Add-on
  • SAP Certification in S/4HANA Service or Customer
