Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in Payments Banking and Credit Card systems to support the analysis, design, and delivery of complex payment solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for credit card and payment initiatives
• Work on end-to-end card lifecycle: onboarding, authorization, clearing, settlement, billing, and disputes
• Translate regulatory and business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Collaborate with development teams on payment integrations (card networks, processors, gateways)
• Analyze and document transaction flows, message formats, and system integrations
• Support initiatives related to:
  • Credit card authorization & switching
  • Merchant acquiring & issuing systems
  • Payment gateways and wallets
  • Fraud detection and risk controls
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and backlog refinement
• Support UAT, defect analysis, and production issue triage
• Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, regulatory, and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field
• 3 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst
• Strong domain expertise in Payments Banking & Credit Cards
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Credit card processing systems (Issuing / Acquiring)
  • ISO 8583 message formats
  • Authorization, clearing, and settlement flows
  • Chargebacks, disputes, and reconciliation
• Solid understanding of:
  • Card networks (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, RuPay)
  • Payment gateways, switches, and processors
• Technical skills:
  • SQL & data analysis
  • APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON/XML
  • System integration and data mapping
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps
