Cloud Lead & Data Center SME

Ø  Over 10 years of experience in leadership roles specializing in Cloud and Data Centre technologies

Ø  Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, private cloud) and on premises data center technologies

Ø  Defines and implements cloud and data center strategies aligned with organizational goals

Ø  Drives innovation in infrastructure design, deployment, and operational efficiency

Ø  Evaluates emerging cloud technologies and recommends adoption strategies

Ø  Provides technical guidance on architecture, deployment, and operational best practices

Ø  Leads complex troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning initiatives

Ø  Oversees day to day data center operations including monitoring, maintenance, and incident management

Ø  Ensures robust high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

Ø  Manages vendor relationships and service contracts for critical infrastructure components

Ø  Deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform

Ø  Strong understanding of data center technologies including networking, storage, virtualization, compute, and server infrastructure

Ø  Hands on experience with cloud migration, integration, and hybrid cloud strategies

Ø  Expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning

Ø  Proven leadership experience mentoring and guiding technical teams

Ø  Ability to define and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives

Ø  Ability to influence senior stakeholders on technical decisions

Ø  Experience managing large scale cloud and data center infrastructure

Ø  Knowledge of ITIL, operational best practices, incident and problem management processes

Ø  Awareness of compliance, regulatory, and security standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR)

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non technical audiences

Ø  Strong collaboration skills for working with architects, project managers, and vendors

Ø  Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation

Ø  Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation

Ø  Exposure to AI/ML workloads in cloud environments

Ø  Familiarity with edge computing or hyper converged infrastructure solutions

Ø  Experience managing large scale infrastructure projects including budgeting and resource planning

Ø  Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies as applied to infrastructure teams
