Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced *Developer IV* with strong expertise in *EDI systems, UNIX/Linux, C/C++, and SQL. The ideal candidate will support and enhance enterprise EDI front-end and translator systems using **X12/5010 EDI standards*, troubleshoot distributed applications, and assist with implementing a new EDI platform. This role requires excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in a UNIX/Linux environment.
Must-Have Skills
* 6+ years of application development or application support experience
* Strong experience with *UNIX/Linux command line* and *Shell Scripting*
* Hands-on experience with *C/C++*
* Strong *SQL* skills with Oracle or Open Source databases
* Experience troubleshooting *multi-tier distributed applications*
* Experience supporting *EDI/X12/5010* transaction processing
* Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
* Excellent communication and customer support skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Must have lived in the *United States for the past 3+ years*

Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain enterprise *EDI front-end and translator* systems.
* Implement enhancements for the new EDI processing platform.
* Troubleshoot application and system issues in *UNIX/Linux* environments.
* Analyze and resolve customer issues related to EDI file submissions and report retrieval.
* Develop and maintain *Shell scripts, **C/C++* programs, and *SQL* queries.
* Monitor and troubleshoot distributed applications across multiple system tiers.
* Work closely with application support, middleware, and infrastructure teams.
* Participate in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.
* Document technical solutions and operational procedures.
* Provide production support in a collaborative healthcare EDI environment.
